Assateague
April 16-18, 2004
We love to go to Assateague and always have a wonderful
trip when we go. The troop goes about every other year, and the last
trip and this trip included bike hikes for the older guys. This year,
the bike trip was 37 miles. For the first year guys, the April trip
is usually their first camping trip with the troop. Assateague is a
great way to start off the scouting memories! For the first year guys
this year, there was a nature hike that included some plant and animal identification
towards their various Trail to First requirements. There was also time
for all to have some fun on the beach and in camp playing volleyball. Check
out the pictures, and you too will see why this trip is such a great one!
