    Klondike Derby
    January 15, 2005

    We attended the Carroll District Klondike Derby at Freedom Park in Syskesvile, Maryland.  Our Troop ran the "Ice Rescue" station where competition was tough.  We had two sled teams, and one of them took first place in the sled race at the end of the day!  The First Annual Scoutmaster Dutch Oven Cookoff was also held, and our Scoutmaster took first place over some tough competition with his breakfast burritos!  Enjoy the pictures!
