Sykesville Centennial Parade
May 1, 2004
The town of Sykesville celebrated its 100 anniversary
of incorporation on May 1, 2004. Our troop and brother pack were invited
to be the color guard for the parade! Guys from the troop and pack
got together and met on Cooper Road. where all of the participants in the
parade were staging. The parade went from Cooper Road to Main Street.
It was great as people lining the road were cheering us on with sayings
such as "Yea, Boy Scouts"! All looked great in their uniforms and did
an excellent job!
