York County Heritage Rail Trail
June 1, 2002
To meet the 20 mile hike requirement for the Hiking Merit Badge,
the guys chose to hike the York County Heritage Rail Trail. This trail
is a continuation of the Northern Central Railroad Trail that ends in Maryland
at the Pennsylvania boarder. The trail is a flat trail that parrallels
an abandoned rail line and ends in York, Pennsylvania. The scenery was
beautiful, but boy, the day ended up being hot, 90 degrees! Enjoy
the hike from the comfort of your home by viewing the pictures below!
